RACE DAY!
Just after Christmas, they designed the body. Then came the cutting. Painting and adding on the wheels came next. When practice time came, a little weight was added to give it some speed. Then it came. Today was the day...PINEWOOD DERBY Race Day! Eric came in 2nd in one of the 6 heats he participated in. There were about forty-five cars there and at least 6 troops from pack 181. So, based on the pictures, let us know if you can pick out his car....and only one hint....it's not the one you think it is...it has no orange :) So feel free to guess & eventually we'll reveal it by posting a picture of our Tiger Cub and his car.

LATE UPDATE
Thought I'd share pictures from Christmas at our house. In battling (and passing on) a nasty bug the Thursday before to the Monday after, we were all WIPED OUT! We enjoyed having family to share the holiday with, but sharing such sickness was not our intention. We probably wouldn't have made it through the weekend very well without all the help though and for this gift we are so very grateful.
