Jumbled Together
So, I had to learn how to post pictures using a different tool this evening. In doing so, they got posted out of order although under the umbrella of "this past month." I think I caught on eventually so will do better next time. Anyway, the New Year started with Mess Fest (no, not our usual at our house) but at the Science Center with lots of gooey, messy fun for the boys. Later, on the weekend the ladies retreated, the boys celebrated Grandpa's birthday and visit. The boys got to go to a buddy day with their friend Ryan and learned some martial art moves which they really enjoyed. They even learned kicks to break their own boards (not bones or brothers or brother's bones!?!) which was exciting too. The second grade went to the Science Center for a field trip and I got to join in the very loud and fast moving fun. Eric is like a tour guide there anymore (as well as the zoo) so if/when you come to town, he can definitely show you around.
I think there MAY actually be school tomorrow as we find our way out of this freeze fest. It left us with no water for a few hours with workers on our road trying to address the problem, but many had worse issues to deal with in the cold. Until next time....stay WARM :)
