What 40 Looks Like
I think a defining moment of last evening was when Jon and I glanced over at all the kids playing together after our wonderful dinner. What we observed was that our kids were the 'big kids' of the bunch. WOW. Then again, we have been going to 'our place' since the infant carrier days. Heaven knows we can't even believe that Eric could possibly fit into one of those anymore. Where does the time go? Regardless, it seems as though it has been time well spent....sharing love, building our own family, finding friends you can really count on and making new ones along the way. Everything worked out according to a plan...not sure it was ours, but we'll certainly accept it & be thankful! What a blessing indeed ;)
