Out East

It may have started to become a tradition...making a trip to eastern PA in the fall. After the PSU game (BIG WIN!) we drove into Morgantown, PA. After an evening swim and some rest, we headed for Fall Fest on Sunday morning. Farmer's Daughter Market is owned and operated by a close personal friend of mine and the place was filled with BIG FUN. Climbing huge hay bales, moon jumps, corn maze, hayride, face painting, picking pumpkins...we did it all. After that, SOME of us took a nap as we headed to the last exit in PA (before NJ) to go to the Crayola Factory. Check out some pictures from November 2005 in our blog for comparisons. The boys enjoyed the colorful activities in the afternoon. After that, we headed to our friends for a visit. Unfortunately, several of them were under the weather so we tried not to stay too long before heading to another hotel for more swimming and rest. Monday was our long haul home...but Hershey's Chocolate World broke that up a bit....a sweet stop. This time we checked out the Chocolate Tasting Tour....one we'd highly recommend (licking our lips). After that, we made the trek home and went and got our doggies back. Poor Cindy always loses her bark but that's just about back now too.
