Lap #7 turned out to be his final lap as Eric spun out rounding the bend. His left knee took most of the hit along with his other knee and elbow. He was a trooper though as he had made a bet that he could do 10 more laps after doing many more than that earlier that afternoon. He was to get a quarter for doing so, but as he didn't fulfill this commitment, he said in disappointment that he'd pay me the 25 cents when we got back. Our concern was making sure he was okay and bandaging the problem areas up. Jesse wanted to interview him after the mishap but he denied the initial request.
