Big Valley Wedding Weekend
Last weekend, we made our way east for another wedding...there seemed to be a bunch of these this summer. Funny thing is we just got our third 1st (one year old) birthday party invitation today so apparently last year was full of new babies....guessing there will probably be another wave of those coming up again!?!
After we got into town and settled, we checked out the Mifflin County 4H Youth Fair and visited Nana. Saturday we got all dalled up for cousin Justin & Jen's big day. We loved the colors and the arrangements were beautiful and there was lots of love and happiness...what a great event with friends and family.
That evening we gathered at Jon's grandparents for a "Jesse (piano) concert", croquet and good conversation. We then went back to "Grandma's" for yummy banana mallow pie. The next morning, we enjoyed a big brunch and then headed for the hills of Pittsburgh. On the way back, we stopped and tried "Five Guys." The burgers and fries were a big hit as was the Sweet Shop next door. It was a nice weekend away but always feels good to be home again...even if that means the work week is creeping in.
