I think I'm going to try and recap our big trip just one day at a time as it seems a bit overwhelming to tackle it all in one shot and it might help to accompany the many pictures with some narration and details along the way of each day.
DAY 1 - 2 - 3: We left Friday late afternoon and drove just a few hours to Summersville, WV. Jesse seemed quite uncomfortable with us driving at night (being somewhere unfamiliar) so we didn't push the envelope too much. On Saturday, we took a lunch break and stopped to see This Is It. The boys really wanted to see this (as did I) and they really enjoyed seeing the talent and musical gift that Michael Jackson was. After that, we continued on our journey to Savannah, GA and actually met up with Mom and Larry. We had adjoining rooms and enjoyed a nice dinner together at Cracker Barrel. On Sunday, we set out separately driving into sunny FL in the morning and chose to venture to Downtown Disney for lunch and to hang out until we could check into the resort. After we "moved in", we went down to the pools (3 whirlpools, a lazy river and a "regular" pool were on our side of the resort and near our building). That evening, we also learned we had a view of the nightly 9pm fireworks displayed for Illuminations at Epcot...an added bonus. As we headed to bed, the gears were in motion for our plan and Disney days that lie ahead...
